One-Person Studio Catchweight studio announced its first project – horror Conscript. A trailer and first details about the game were also presented.
The developer is a 23-year-old student from Melbourne Jdwho has been working on the project for three years. It is inspired by the classics of the genre (Resident evil and Silent hill), however, the setting of the First World War was taken as the basis.
The main character of Conscript will be a French soldier who is looking for his brother who disappeared during the Battle of Verdun. Judging by the trailer, players have to study trenches and trenches, solve puzzles, and also fight against German soldiers and hallucinations that arise from poison gas.
The release of the horror should take place in 2023.
