Square enix released a trailer for the upcoming update Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers… Patch 5.5, dubbed Death unto dawn, split into two parts, and the first of them will appear in the game on April 13th.
On the day the first part of the patch is installed, a new chapter of the story campaign will open for players. The third part of the YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse raid, inspired by the famous NieR Automata… The patch also contains dungeons, challenges, mission chains and other gameplay improvements.
Patch 5.5 aims to lay the foundation for an upcoming major expansion. Endwalker, which is slated for release in the fall. In the meantime, the creators of the game have shared a new landmark achievement: the community of Final Fantasy XIV has grown to 22 million registered players.
