Remaster will offer support HDR and widescreen displays with resolution 4K, dynamic shadows and lighting, smoothing and other effects of post-processing, as well as a higher density of particle effects, improved quality of game assets and content cut from the original game. The development team Nightdive studios, which is now likewise also updating the game based on “Blade Runner“
“Our goal with a remaster is to give the modern generation of gamers all the opportunities they expect from a modern title, while maintaining the level of quality that made the iconic Valiant character and the original Shadow Man a classic for all time,” said Stephen Kick, CEO of Nightdive Studios .

The original Shadow Man was released by forces Acclaim studios on the PC, Playstation, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast in 1999. The project was considered a lost classic for many years, until in 2014 it was reissued in its original form on personal computers.
