According to Variety, AMC and Shudder already ordered a full set of scripts for the third season of horror anthology “Kaleidoscope of horrors”.
The project is a restart of the 1982 film of the same name, on which they worked Stephen king and George Romero. The producer of the new version is Greg Nicotero (“The walking Dead”)
The most interesting thing is that the second season of the series has not even been published yet – it was supposed to be shot in March, but the coronavirus pandemic prevented the case. According to a service representative Shudder, the scripts were ordered, as the authors want the scriptwriters to have in their hands a large amount of material in advance.
The series became the first independent watch show on a streaming service and at the same time was quite successful – more than half of the audience watched at least one episode.
