The company has already signed a contract to sell the Suzhou plant to a Chinese firm CSOT (China Star Optoelectronics Technology)which manufactures LCD and OLED panels. Earlier this year, Samsung sold a piece of equipment from its factory. L8 Efonlong, another Chinese display company.

In March 2023, the company will completely switch to production QLED-TV sets.
