South Korean regulators confirm the imminent release of a new line of SSD-drives type M.2 NVMe company Samsung. Writes about this Techpowerup.
It is reported that the drive will be available in 1 TB options (model MZ-V8P1T0), 500 GB (MZ-V8P500) and 250 GB (MZ-V8P250). It is assumed that MLC memory is used there, which stores two bits in a cell.
Among the features, we note the support for PCI-Express 4.0 x4, as well as sequential read and write speeds of up to 6500/5000 MB / s. The performance of random access is not specified, however, most likely, they will be high.
The price is still unknown, as for the release date, it is assumed that the new product will be launched in October.
