S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 created on Unreal Engine 4 – review

Recently Epic games included S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to the list of upcoming games that are created on the basis of the company’s engine – Unreal engine 4. Rumors about this went from the announcement itself, but until now there was no certainty in the matter.
As a result, GSC Game World decided not to pull the cat by the tail and admitted – yes, the sequel S.T.A.L.K.E.R. really developed on the basis of the Unreal engine.

According to the developers, the Epic Games technology is the most suitable and modern solution on the market, which allows you to create exactly the game that the team conceived. Mods should also be an important aspect of the project, and Unreal Engine 4 is great for this.

Along with this, the GSC showed an illustration with “last year’s loaf.” Perhaps this is a virtual model from the sequel – consider the first screenshot!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 has neither a release date, nor even a confirmed list of platforms. Given the close relationship with Epic Games, it is possible that on PC the game will drop by the Epic Games Store, however, developers are asked not to rush to conclusions.
