BioWare added Russian voice acting to the first part Mass effect for the collection Legendary Edition, which was not to the liking of many – dubbing is considered unsuccessful. Here and poorly selected actors, and liberties in adaptation, and much more.
The developers and the publisher have still not commented on the situation in any way (we tried to contact both BioWare itself and its representatives – only silence in response), and the players’ patience came to an end.
Russian users of Metacritic began to actively storm the rating of the collection on the aggregator, having already managed to lower it to 5.6 points out of ten – the main part of the complaints concerns just the translation and the silence of the developers.
However, there are complaints from users from other countries – for example, some complain about the lack of respect due to the refusal to translate the collection into Portuguese.
