But the relationship between Kojima and Ito did not spoil it at all, as evidenced by the appearance of the latter in the role of one of the secondary characters of Death Stranding.

There, the game designer directly said that he was interested in writing manga, creating small projects and shooting his own movie, which obviously correlates with today’s rumor.
Based on all this, a conclusion emerges that in the foreseeable future we can expect a still unknown project under the Death Stranding brand (a small episodic game, a large continuation, plot DLC content, an adaptation with live actors, or, for example, an adaptation in the form of a CG film ) and the joint manga Kojima and Junji Ito, which as it may be associated with Death Stranding, are not.
