Italian edition Multiplayer.It reports that returning to the industry with a new studio Jade Raymond is working on a PS5 exclusive game. Haven Studios’ future creation will be a completely original project based on a brand new IP.
An anonymous source of the publication allegedly received an offer to work in a Montreal studio. The message clarified the role of the future employee and described the upcoming product.
“I work at the Montreal studio Haven Games, funded by Sony and led by Jade Raymond, to whom we owe franchises like Assassin’s Creed and Watch Dogs,” writes the recruit.
“She wants to add to the team [роль разработчика] to help develop a project based on original intellectual property: a Sony-exclusive online service game. “
It is worth noting that in our time “games-services” appear more and more often, but this does not necessarily mean that users are waiting for another Fortnite or Warzone. The definition is fairly widespread in the industry and can be applied to almost any kind of content that includes updates and post-release material added to the game in any way.
Jade Raymond founded the studio after leaving Google. The producer reached an agreement with Sony and recruited a team of developers who had previously worked on projects for Stadia.
It is not yet known when the Haven Studios creation will be released.
