Rumor: Halo Infinite To Show At E3 2023 And Release Only Next Fall

Halo: Infinite was supposed to come out this month with Xbox series x, but in the summer it was postponed to the next year, since 343 Industries decided to send the game back for revision after criticizing the debut gameplay.

And while the developers are improving the shooter, YouTuber Sean W in one of his latest videos said that he had a certain secret source who shared with him a couple of interesting details about the upcoming project. The information has not been confirmed by anyone, so it is still considered a rumor

  • The game is planned to be presented at E3 2023, but in what form it is still unknown;
  • Halo: Infinite’s release date is set for Fall 2023, despite some rumors suggesting a first half release.
  • Halo veteran Joseph Staten, who joined 343i in August as head of story campaign development, was impressed by what he saw;
  • There are several reasons for the delay: one of them, of course, is related to COVID-19, but a big role in this, as it was obvious, was played by the backlash to the July demonstration;
  • An insider claims the game is “special,” but does not specify what he means by that. Perhaps we are talking about the scale of the project, which is rumored to be very large.

343 Industries recently confirmed that it has no plans to show the game on The Game Awards 2023 in December, but will soon start sharing news.
