Christmas celebrations took place not only in reality, but also on World of Warcraft Classic servers. Most of the events took place in two capitals – in Ironforge near the Alliance and in Orgrimmar near the Horde.
Before Christmas, the developers decorated the locations with Christmas trees and garlands, and in the cities of both factions, Grandfather Zima appeared. Players complemented the festive atmosphere by inventing their own in-game entertainment. Representatives of the Alliance staged a race of smart gnomes on deer.
In Orgrimmar, a festive atmosphere was created by shamans who built passages from totems.
Some users were even able to climb the tree.

Players of the Alliance led round dances, but not around the Christmas tree, but next to one of the braziers in Ironforge.
On one of the servers, a march of paladins was held, in which a gnome and a warrior intervened.
Alliance players lined up in an organized queue to chat with Grandfather Winter.
Some guilds used a festive Christmas dress code.
On the American Atiesh server, Alliance and Horde players took a joint photo in the location of the Hillsbrad Foothills, which is considered one of the most bloody in the world of PvP.
The festive atmosphere was not only on the Flamelash server, which almost all the Alliance players left in early December due to the imbalance of forces in PvP.
Holidays take place in another game from Blizzard – Overwatch. All users who enter the shooter before January 2 will receive five lootboxes with thematic attributes.
