Riot Games notes that they will “store data no longer than necessary, and protect – as their own.” The company also assures that they will not listen to voice chats in real time.
We know that many are worried about the possibility of collecting voice data, but believe me – we would not introduce such a system if we ourselves were not ready to entrust it with our data. If you absolutely do not want your voice to be recorded, just turn off voice chat in the game settings.
Now the innovation is in development. The authors will beta test in North America before launching the system in Valorant for different languages and regions. It is not yet known how the innovation will affect players from Russia, where there is no voice chat.
