Results of the week on Steam: Biomutant loses players, Resident Evil Village dropped from the top sales

Company Valve published a global sales chart in Steam by revenue for the week ended May 30th.

And again, another novelty was among the leaders. Previously ranked first Days gone dropped to fifth place, yielding position to action role-playing Biomutant… The project debuted on May 25th, demonstrating the best launch on the platform among all THQ Nordic releases, but after a successful start, a sharp drop followed: from 55 thousand concurrent players in a week fell to 19 thousand, and even the first weekend did not help, when online, in theory, should, on the contrary, grow.

At the same time, there is a positive point. The user rating of the game is slowly going up. From an initial 55% in a few days, the number of positive reviews on Steam increased to 65%… Previously Developers announcedthat are already working on improving the game based on community feedback.

The top three also includes an online pirate adventure Sea of ​​thieves – sales growth was helped by a 50% discount.

Mass Effect: Legendary Edition dropped to 4th place, while Resident Evil: Village in the third week of sales, it completely flew out of the top 10. Along with the horror movie Capcom left the chart It Takes Two, although she held out in the top ten much longer – for two whole months.
