Resident Evil Village will feature roguelike and random elements – review addiction

The most interesting was “Eerie village“- according to him, this is not just increased complexity, as it is called in Capcom, but almost a separate mode with elements of a roguelike (roguelike) and random events.

Regular players will have access to it upon completion, and buyers of the premium edition will have access to it upon first launch. It looks like the Village of Shadows is a development of ideas Ethan must die from the first set of additions for the seventh part.

In it, the hero respawned with 12 inventory slots and a knife – the location of enemies and traps were changed compared to the main RE7, however, upon death and respawning (there are no save points), they remain in the same places. In RE8, it looks like they will change.

The rest of the bonuses for the extended version are already clear: some of the cosmetic items from Resident evil 7 (safe room music, VHS filter, and the like), a Wesker-style pistol from the first RE, and an artbook.

Resident Evil Village launches May 7 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. A few days later, on April 16 at 01:00 Moscow time, the developers will hold a presentation showing fresh footage and, probably, the release of a gameplay demo.
