After the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, Capcomhas tackled a similar re-release of Resident Evil 4, according to insiders, but there is another classic in the series that fans of the franchise would like to see redesigned on new consoles.
It’s about Resident Evil Code: Veronica… Perhaps someday Capcom’s hands will get to her, but in the meantime, fans are trying to update the game on their own.
The gameplay of the fan-made remake of Code Veronica, created on Unity Engine… The project is intended to preserve the style of the original, but is completely redesigned for a third-person view, like in the official remakes of RE 2-3… The game will offer expanded scenarios, improved cinematics, new mechanics, and a classic fixed camera mode.
Of course, this venture does not carry any commercial purpose. The authors make a remake on pure enthusiasm and will publish it for free, unless, of course, there are questions about the project from Capcom’s lawyers.
