Resident Evil 8 will be released in 2023 – it is about hallucinations and the occult – review

Rumors around Resident evil 8 already abound, but it seems that now we can finally make an impression about the unannounced continuation of the series thanks to the famous blogger Dusk golem.

The current version of the game was originally born as Resident Evil: Revelations 3. However, the results of internal tests were much higher than expected, and Capcom, not wanting to have a big gap between the seventh and eighth part of the series, I decided to remake the project in the license plate.

The game itself is very different from other episodes in the series, which is why many fans may hate it at first. Hallucinations will play an important role both in history and in gameplay, and the main themes will be occultism, madness and distrust of others.
Apparently, it was just about this version of RE8 that we heard at the end of January, when it was reported that Ethan from RE7 would be the main character, who would be hunted by the ghost of a woman, and werewolves and classic zombies would become one of the enemies. However, much could change during processing.

The G8 will retain the first-person perspective in order to somehow adhere to the style of its predecessor, because otherwise it is a completely unusual game for the franchise. In words, the project still strongly resembles the canceled Resident evil 3.5.

Footage Resident Evil 3.5 is the original version of Resident Evil 4, where Leon went off with a ghostly mansion. They abandoned the idea.

The announcement of Resident Evil 8 is expected in the next few months, and the release is in 2023. Most likely in the first half.
