Remake of Resident Evil 3 will not contain alternative endings

Remake producer Resident Evil 3 Peter Fabiano reported Official PlayStation Magazine UKthat the upcoming reprint of the cult surviving horror will not receive alternative endings.

Fans of the original game remember that during the passage of various missions, the developers gave the player a choice, during which he made decisions that led to a new sequence of actions. It was they who influenced the ending, during which Jill Valentine escaped from the city, as well as the fate of a certain villain (fans will probably understand what is at stake).

However, this time Capcom seems to be going to tell a more linear story. Does this mean that we will no longer see the possibility of choosing the action that appears on the screen at the time of the battle with the Nemesis (for example, run away Jill or give a fight)? Unfortunately, there is no answer to this question yet.

A remake of Resident Evil 3 is scheduled for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on April 3, 2023. According to rumors, the next game in the series will be Resident Evil 8, and not a remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica.
