Publishing house Focus home interactive and studio Deck13 announced that the plot extension for hardcore role-playing action The surge 2 entitled Kraken will be released on all platforms already January 16th. The addition is part of the seasonal pass and premium edition of the game.
The Kraken extension will bring with it a new storyline and location, as well as many new weapons, implants and armor that can be found or created. In addition, players will be on a huge decommissioned aircraft carrier, converted into a refuge for the rich and famous. There, the hero will encounter fighting pirate robots, out of control security systems and an impressive new boss with his unique combat mechanics.
