Red Dead Redemption 2, Rainbow Six Siege and More Coming Soon to NVIDIA DLSS Technology

Number of Ray Tracing and DLSS-enabled games per PC rose to 130, the company announced NVIDIA… And in the near future, the list will continue to expand.

“The rapid adoption of RTX technology in modern games is a watershed moment for the industry. Ray tracing and DLSS are becoming ubiquitous in today’s biggest hits — from the most popular game of all time, Minecraft, to the bestselling Call of Duty series,” the company said.

Today it was confirmed that eight more projects will soon acquire newfangled technologies, including DOOM Eternal

  • DOOM Eternal (DLSS, RTX)
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (DLSS)
  • Rainbow Six Siege (DLSS)
  • Icarus (DLSS, RTX)
  • LEGO Builder’s Journey (DLSS, RTX)
  • DYING: 1983 (DLSS, RTX)
  • The Ascent (DLSS, RTX)
  • The Persistence (DLSS, RTX)

On the occasion of the announcement of the 3070 and 3080 Ti graphics cards, NVIDIA also introduced a new map for Fortnite called Titanium City (access code 1866-3511-4211)

DLSS is a deep neural network that runs on the tensor cores of GeForce RTX graphics cards. It uses advanced rendering with AI algorithms and delivers quality at native resolution while rendering with fewer pixels. The technology provides headroom for higher frame rates, graphics settings, and gaming resolutions up to 8K.

The technology should especially benefit the PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2. NVIDIA noted that one of the most beautiful PC games is now getting even better

In addition to traditional games, NVIDIA is integrating RTX and DLSS technologies into VR projects.
