Razer unveils new Hammerhead True Wireless gaming headphones

Company Razer released the second version of its wireless headphones Hammerhead true wireless… Recall that the original was introduced in 2019 and was positioned as a device for gamers.

The new revision has an active noise cancellation (ANC) function, proprietary Chroma RGB backlighting and a number of other improvements.

Transparency mode allows the user to hear ambient sounds and noise cancellation (ENC) works during voice calls. The headphones are equipped with dual microphones to detect, identify and cut out unwanted background noise.

In addition, version 2.0 has improved battery life. The original sat down after 16 hours, and the new model will last twice as long. The maximum 32.5 hours is made up of 6.5 hours of the built-in battery in the headphones and 26 hours of charging using the included case (four full cycles). With ANC activated and RGB lighting, the headphones will work for 4 and 16 hours, respectively.

The new Hammerhead True Wireless supports Google Fast Pair and Bluetooth 5.2 (original Bluetooth 5.0), IPX4 protection and low latency game mode (60ms).

The price of the original Hammerhead True Wireless in Russia is 9,990 rubles. The new model is currently only available in the US for $ 129.99.
