Ratchet & Clank Tested At 60 FPS On PlayStation 5 – No Issues Found

Studio Insomniac Games updated yesterday Ratchet & Clank for PlayStation 5. A fresh patch added support for 60 frames per second, and today the first tests have appeared on the network, checking whether this is really so.

It turned out that yes. According to testing conducted by the channel VG Tech, after the update Ratchet & Clank really began to work in 60 FPS on the PS5however this is still backward compatible. The developers did not make the native version, and accordingly, in everything else, except for the playback speed, the game remained the same… The resolution has not changed either – it’s still the same 1440p with temporal reconstruction up to 4K, just like on PS4 Pro.

In terms of performance, the game confidently maintains a stable 60 frames, with the exception of one moment from the test, where the frequency momentarily dropped to 58 FPS.

We remind you that until 6 am Ratchet & Clank is still you can pick up for free at PS Store within the program Play At Home
