First of all, the developers showed how to play for the new operator. The player cannot stop the exploding drone or force it to move backward, but the gadget is easily attached to surfaces like walls and “makes a boom” 3 seconds after activation.
Of course, the device is intended primarily for the destruction of defenders’ structures like the same stationary shields, but it may well ruin the life of a fighter who has settled somewhere in the corner.
In addition, with the start of Crimson Heist, the developers will give some attacking operators a weapon with a single exploding projectile, which will also help get rid of an extra barrier. Moreover, the card “Border“Will be reworked, and the PC will add replays of games in beta versions.
In addition, the team spoke about the planned updates during the new year of the game.
Each season will bring a new operator and a redesigned map (or even several):
- Season 2 – North American Nakoda Operative, Favela Rework
- Season 3 – Operator from Croatia, minor map changes
- Season 4 – Operative from Ireland, Outback rework.
And of course Ubisoft will host events and change some elements of the game. They will tell you more about this closer to implementation, but now the developers have quite ambitious plans: the changes affect test servers, the reputation of the players, mechanics, and much more.
