Studio developers Aspyr media moved Star Wars Episode I: Racer release on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 indefinitely. The reason was the coronavirus pandemic, which forced the entire industry to switch to a remote mode of operation.
Aspyr Media promises to announce the new release date for Star Wars Episode I: Racer on modern platforms as soon as possible.
Initially, the re-release was to be released on Switch and PS4 today, May 12. However, in late April, the release of the arcade race on the console Sony postponed for two weeks. The release of the original game took place in 1999.
The reissue will receive updated management (even for one Joy-Con), 25 playable characters, race tracks on 8 planets and the ability to pump your cars. Players are waiting for multiplayer in split-screen mode on PS4 and Switch and local multiplayer only on the console Nintendo.
