Portal IGN published the debut trailer of the recently announced full-length animated film Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge. The tape received an adult rating R and will be released on home and digital media in the spring of 2023.
A one and a half minute teaser shoots an epic battle between the champions of the Outer World and the Earth Kingdom. Here is a brief synopsis:
Based on the world-famous best-selling game created by Ed Boon and John Tobias, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge talks about the once-in-a-generation tournament between champions of the Outer World and Earth Kingdom – a competition that will ultimately determine the fate of the Earth and all of its inhabitants .
“Lord Raiden, the protector of the Earth, must gather the greatest fighters of his kingdom to protect him from the sinister Shang Tsung in the battle to end all wars – let the mortal battle begin!”
