This March Sony confirmed plans to close digital stores for PS3, PSP and PS Vita, but in April the company changed its mind about closing PlayStation Store for PS3 and PS Vita.
The exception was the PSP store, which was scheduled to close today, July 2. The company has now announced that PSP games can still be purchased from digital stores for the PS3 and PS Vita.
Despite this, the store for the PSP itself will still be disabled. Starting July 6, players will not be able to search for games or make in-game purchases. At the same time, gamers will still be able to download previously purchased games.
