Studio 4A Games announced the release of the hotfix 2.0.0.1 for the recent RTX reissue Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition on PC.
A fresh update fixed the problem with incorrect DLC unlocking and eliminated an error in the vertical syncronization, when enabled, the lock was set at 60 FPS even if the hardware allowed you to play with a higher refresh rate. The patch also fixed crashes in the Two Colonels extension on the GeForce RTX 2060 video card and, most importantly, added full support DualSense…
Users who have already tested the new update have confirmed that when playing with a PS5 controller, the shooter now has tactile feedback and resistance from adaptive triggers, but there are a few bugs. For example, triggers for some reason do not respond to zooming in on the map and when switching weapons in the upgrade menu, and vibration during sprinting is felt only on the right side of the controller. Perhaps the gamepad will work in future patches.
Metro Exodus: Enhanced Edition was the first PC game to feature DualSense features… Users now hope there will be more examples like this in the future.
PlayStation 5 owners will also be able to experience DualSense in Metro: Exodus with a free update for Nextgen consoles next month.
