PS5 backward compatibility still supports 120 FPS – Call of Duty: Warzone became the first game

Activision and Raven Studios Released an Update 1.38 with the fourth season for Call of Duty: Warzone, which added, among other things, support 120 FPS on the Playstation 5… Thanks to this, owners of the new Sony console can now play at a higher frame rate on supported displays.

As Eurogamer noted, Warzone Becomes First PlayStation 5 Game To Be Backward Compatible At 120fps… Previously, it was thought that due to the backward compatibility on PS5, to add 120 FPS, you need to create a native port. Apparently, the developers from Raven managed to get around this limitation.

Moreover, on Xbox Series X / S Increased frame rates in Call of Duty: Warzone have been available since November last year.
