PS App just got better for PlayStation 5

Company Sony announced and immediately released an updated application PlayStation App for iOS (version 12.2 or higher) and Android (version 6.0 or higher).

It includes a number of innovations, including voice chat, built-in PS Store access and a completely new design… Key features are listed below.

  • Redesigned user interface – The new home screen now lets you instantly see what your friends are playing, see information about recently played games, and take a look at the trophy list;
  • Built-in messaging – PS Messages has been re-integrated into the PS App so you no longer have to switch between them to chat with friends. It will no longer be available separately;
  • Voice chat and party groups – now you can create party groups in the PS App and communicate with 15 users at the same time using voice chat on a mobile device;
  • Built-in PlayStation Store and Remote Content Download – With the built-in store, you can shop and view products directly from the PS App, while the Remote Download feature allows you to remotely start downloading your purchased game directly to your PS4 or PS5;
  • New Features for PS5 – After the release of the new console, you can remotely launch games, manage system memory and quickly sign in using the PS App;
  • All the latest PlayStation news at your fingertips – in the Overview tab, you can view official news from game developers and publications from the PlayStation Blog.

The new PS App can be downloaded from App Store and Google play via links or directly from the device itself.
