The protagonist of Backbone is the raccoon Howard Lotor, who works as a detective in pixelated dystopian Vancouver. He leads an ordinary life with routine investigations and lonely evenings. But everything changes when a unique case falls into his claws.
Players will have to poke their noses into the farthest corners of the city in order to search for evidence, build relationships with anthropomorphic animals, solve puzzles, conduct long branched dialogues and look for those who also want Vancouver to change for the better.
Backbone will release on consoles later this year. In the meantime, the game gets over 90% positive reviews on Steam. Her free prologue is also available there.
