A special series of postage stamps has been issued in the United Kingdom. Its authors decided to salute the British developers and honor the classic heroes of video games created by domestic companies in 1980-1990.
There are twelve stamps in total and frames from Tomb Raider, Elite, Dizzy, Populous, Lemmings, Micro Machines, Sensible Soccer, Wipeout, Worms are depicted on them.
A full set costs 14.25 pounds. Four stamps featuring Lara Croft can be purchased for 4.50 pounds.
