The situation is unusual in that the game provoked a fight between very mature men.
Loser of the battle for location 56 years old Kanehisa Sato hit an acquaintance in the chest through the open window of his car, and then smashed the side mirror. The 55-year-old victim who was in the car called the police, who arrested the aggressive Pokemon trainer for assaulting a friend and damaging property.
According to police, Sato and the victim met while playing, knew each other for several years and were in a tense relationship. The last straw was the fight in Pokemon GO for control of the same Gym.
