The game will not be a separate port, like Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox 360, which was made by third-party studio Sumo Digital on the old engine and was very different from the main version for Xbox One.… In the case of FH5, the game has a single version, which is optimized for different platforms using scalability tools integrated into the engine, such as variable draw range, level of detail system and DRS (dynamic resolution change).
In fact, as Brown said, the studio was not faced with anything fundamentally new, since it has previously released Forza Horizon for several platforms with different configurations. He also noted that the effort required to create an Xbox One version is comparable to optimizing for a low-spec PC… Overall, the developers are happy with how the game works on all platforms.

Although dynamically changing the resolution for the first time became part of the engine ForzaTech, Eurogamer clarified with Brown that Forza Horizon 5 performance mode on Xbox Series will run at static resolution, while maintaining a stable frame rate will be achieved through some graphical simplifications…
Forza Horizon 5 will be released 9th November…
