PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X – Gameplay Details for Backward Compatibility

Authors PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Revealed the support of the popular battle royale shooter on the upcoming next-gen consoles Playstation 5 and Xbox series x

It has been confirmed that individual versions PUBG will not work for new systems in the fall – the project will work within the framework of backward compatibility systems… Accordingly, the performance indicators are as follows:

  • On PS5 PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds works with settings identical to those displayed PS4 Pro – at 60 frames per second from 1080p resolution
  • On Xbox Series X, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds works with settings identical to those displayed Xbox one x – at 60 frames per second with resolution 1080p
  • On Xbox Series S, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds works with settings identical to those displayed Xbox one s – at 30 frames per second with resolution 1080p

It is noteworthy that in the case of the version under Xbox series s (and Xbox one s) the developers have promised to attend to the issue of unlocking the frame rate in the future

To date PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to actively develop and acquire new content, now the project is preparing for the start of the 9th season
