In March 2023, the release of the game Super Seducer 3 took place, which is sometimes called a “pickup simulator” or even “a manual for seducing girls” on the network. We went through all the plot episodes and decided to share our “gaming” experience with the Cybersport.ru audience.

In winter, I wrote a text about how I played in King’s Bounty with my three-year-old son. That material received good feedback from users, so the editors decided to continue the trend and asked me to play Super Seducer 3 … with my wife. I have never doubted that my colleagues are still trolls, and here is the best visual confirmation of this fact.
I must say right away that I was not too happy about the prospect of spending a few hours in a dating simulator, and even with my wife. Do not get it wrong: neither me nor my wife Nastya were at all embarrassed by the half-naked girls on the screen. It’s just that Super Seducer 3 doesn’t look too much like a game that I might like.
Family evening at Super Seducer 3
Nastya and I suggested that the game could be an excellent evening entertainment – a kind of replacement for films, board games and quizzes. About the first two parts of Super Seducer, I had a very abstract idea, consisting literally of one phrase: “Help a guy with a biblical appearance to fuck.” I explained to Nastya that the game is similar to Bandashmyg, only for pickup artists. To get acquainted with the game, we stocked up with wine and ice cream, and sitting in front of the computer, we immediately turned off the censorship (well, not small ones already).
The game started without any problems. In the first chapter of Super Seducer 3, the protagonist tries to meet a girl in a grocery store and, with a good coincidence, invites her home for carnal pleasures. Our task was to help the ladies’ man achieve his goal by correctly building the line of his behavior.
Each episode in Super Seducer 3 consists of approximately 25 situations in which you need to choose one of 2-6 suggested options for the main character. Some of them were downright stupid or too provocative. For example, pulling your pants down as soon as a conversation starts, shooting a girl’s friend in front of her to impress, or asking if she often has sex with foreigners. For the sake of laughter, we chose such answers a couple of times, but almost always the girl immediately ran away from us.
Other answer options were more acceptable and were divided into effective and ineffective. The first ones added points to the conditional scale of success, the second ones took them away, but did not scare the girl away, allowing us at least to continue communication. Here it became more interesting, since the options really required some kind of work of thought and analysis of personal experience. The chosen answer was not always the best, so it’s cool that after each move, the game’s creator and lead actor Richard la Ruina explained what was the right or wrong choice. I will say in advance that we liked these inserts much more than the game itself.
By answering questions, the player “charges” the success scale, which determines the ending of the story arc. For example, if you dial less than 70% by the end of the episode, then the girl will not even leave you a phone number. At 80%, she can agree to a second date, and if you get 90% or more, then you can even count on spontaneous sex!
At first, Nastya and I consulted and discussed each question in order to choose the most adequate answer, but we quickly got bored – the game, which was already not the most eventful one, turned out to be too protracted. Therefore, we changed our tactics: we began to answer in turn, independently choosing the options, and later commented on each other’s choices. This method turned out to be more fun, but he did not paint the game with new colors. Perhaps the fact that we have been in a relationship for more than ten years, half of which are married, played against us. We know each other well, so we failed to surprise our partner with answers, and the topic of “seduction on the first date” in our case has long been out of date. If you are just starting a relationship with a girl, then it is possible that our method of playing will give you a different experience (but this is not certain).
After a couple of hours, we finally realized that the plan to “have fun” had failed. Even the deliberate choice of trashy answers did not help. Yes, the first couple of times it was funny to watch the stupid behavior of the characters and “wonderful” acting in the spirit of Tommy Wiseau, but this greatly interfered with the progress of the plot. After the failure, the entire episode had to start all over again, answering the same questions over and over again, watching the same cut-scenes with dialogues and comments from the pickup guru. To say that this repetition infuriated us is to say nothing. The game does not create any kind of “romantic” mood either, and it makes no sense to consider it as a kind of virtual aphrodisiac. As a result, we found the experiment of co-op play in Super Seducer 3 unsuccessful.
No co-pilot
The next day, I decided to give Super Seducer 3 another chance and still go through with it. The second half of the game he answered the questions himself, often clicking the episodes two or three times to get the best ending.
It should be noted right away that the episodes were opened only as the previous ones passed, although they were in no way connected with each other. That is, until I figured out the girl in the store, the game did not allow me to switch to another girl in the fitness room, etc. Otherwise, the plot scenes were quite varied: a girl in a gym, a girl + a girl, acquaintance by correspondence, sex threesome and other options. But the authors have obvious problems with ethnic diversity (I condemn!).
I really did not like the fact that to watch the alternative ending, I had to go through the entire episode every time, answering dozens of questions anew. But sometimes there were more than two endings! Also, developers should allow gamers to replay specific questions to see all the answer options and comments to them. Yet the emphasis in Super Seducer 3 is precisely on the training, not on the gameplay.
Some readers may say that Super Seducer 3 has such a function as skipping dialogs to go directly to the answer to a question. I also often resorted to it, because sometimes the scenes with the chatter of the heroes were very tiring. However, the game is conceived in such a way that the user not only needs to listen to the dialogue, but also “read” the body language of the girl-actress. For example, she can unconsciously touch her hair, purse her lips, look away from the interlocutor, be distracted by others, etc. The correct choice of one or another answer may depend on whether you notice these nuances, and if you skip the dialogue, then you can simply lose the context of the question. I often found myself in stupid situations when, when choosing an answer, I did not understand at all what was being said.
In Super Seducer 3, there is practically no gameplay, and the whole gameplay comes down to answering questions. In 95% of cases this is true, but it would be fair to add that there are still small gameplay elements in the game. For example, in some stories it was necessary to play a simple QTE by pressing a certain sequence of 5-6 buttons on the keyboard, and one of the girls asked me to complete a level in a mobile game. However, most of all from this modest list of interactive interactions I remember the task in which the player must choose the right moment to touch the hand of the interlocutor. The developers did not give any input data, there are no indicators or designations either – only the user’s personal feeling based on observing the character. At first I didn’t understand the assignment at all, so I failed. Later, Richard la Ruina explained in the cut-scene that this had to be done at the most emotional moment of the girl’s remark, in order to evoke certain associations and mood in her. As for me, this is a very interesting mechanic, and not a trivial test for accuracy or reaction.
In the entire game, I only managed to get the best ending on the first try. In other cases, the success scale was filled only by 70-80%. The last storyline, which is called “The Inner Game”, was a pleasant surprise; it opens after passing all the levels. In it, Richard la Ruina does not seduce girls, but gives specific advice on how a guy can achieve the right mood so as not to be afraid to meet girls and be more confident in other life situations. Going through it, I caught myself thinking that this is the first time the game is trying to teach me some social skills that are quite applicable in real life (well, yes, well, yes, married).
What conclusions do we draw?
I can’t say that Super Seducer 3 made any cool impression on me. Firstly, it should not be viewed as a full-fledged game – it is rather an interactive tool for communicating with girls. And although there are some pretty good advice, you are unlikely to become a cool pick-up artist. But there is a chance that you will mow less on dates.
Secondly, Super Seducer 3 is clearly aimed at a specific audience. For teenagers or a fun company, it may well be suitable, but people who are older or not very interested (who are already in a relationship) have nothing to do here. Finally, due to the endless repetition of questions, Super Seducer 3 gets boring very quickly – the worst quality possible.
The game has other flaws, in particular, the obvious artificiality of what is happening on the screen. Sometimes there is a feeling that the dialogues of the characters are divorced from reality or do not fit the patterns of our thinking. I can imagine that somewhere abroad for people with a different mentality, such techniques and triggers can work, but if you come to the conditional “AUCHAN” and decide from the first girl you like to find out the recipe for tacos or ask them to talk about a gluten-free diet, then we will frank, you are unlikely to break off anything.
Finally, if anyone thinks Super Seducer 3 is tricky, I have bad news for you. The maximum that you will see during the passage is girls in beautiful underwear. What is it, some of the cosplays on Cybersport.ru look even more frank!
