Kickstarter almost ended fundraising for a board game based on Wolfenstein – The Board Game. Fans have invested in its production eleven times more than originally requested by the developers.
The campaign was launched on April 14, 2023 and received approval. Machinegames and Bethesda. It is created by Polish Archon studio. At the time of writing, 4,300 sponsors contributed $ 598 thousand, which is eleven times more than the original goal of $ 50 thousand.
The final goal is $ 610 thousand. It will allow developers to invest in the game a script with General Zhirnolikim.
The main game includes 182 maps, 16 location tiles and 55 high-quality miniatures made from high-impact plastic. Gamers can also purchase highly detailed plastic floors and walls.
The company hopes to release Wolfenstein: The Board Game by August 2023.
