According to Spencer, all major RPGs currently in development from Xbox Game Studios have their own unique face and tone. Avowed by Obsidian Entertainment, The Elder Scrolls VI from Bethesda Game Studios, Fable 4 from Playground Games are all completely different.
“Fable has never been too dark. The series has always been associated with a certain light-heartedness and ease. I would call it ‘British.’ And the new game from Playground Games, I’m sure, will fit the spirit of the franchise,” he explained.
Both Fable 4 and The Elder Scrolls VI are presented to the public only in teaser format without gameplay footage, but Spencer says the first should definitely come out earlier.
