SEGA formally presented Phantasy Star Online 2 for Steam – the popular Japanese MMORPG will appear on August 5th with bonuses similar to Valve games like Half-Life, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2 and Portal.
Players are expected to transfer progress between other platforms and crossplay, as well as items like:
- emotions with headcrab
- Team Fortress 2 Pyro Gas Mask
- “Faces” Alix from Half-Life: Alyx
- Wheatley’s companion from Portal 2
- minigun from Team Fortress 2 (skin for weapons)
- pans from Left 4 Dead (skin for weapons)
- scrap from Half-Life (skin for weapons)
- Half-Life HEV protective suit (outfit for men)
- Alix clothing from Half-Life (outfit for men)
However, in order to get them, you will have to try – for most of the items there are special tasks like “complete four missions at the highest difficulty level.”
Simultaneously with the release on Steam for the game, there will be a major update called “Episode 4”.
