Pending Remake: Resident Evil 4 Fan Impressively Recreates Village From Unreal Engine 4 Game

While rumors point to a relaunch of the remake development Resident evil 4 from Capcom, the fan community of the game does not sleep and is trying to modernize the cult survival horror on its own.

In particular, environment artist from VOID Interactive Santiago Ibarra now busy with the fact that from scratch recreates the game on Unreal Engine 4… The enthusiast has already implemented several locations from the original Resident Evil 4 on the modern Epic Games engine, including a village, a cemetery and a church, but he has no plans to stop there. In the next build of his project, Ibarra intends to add a playable third-person model of Leon Kennedy, as well as some other parts of the game.

Since the official remake of Resident Evil 4 is now rumored to be in development, chances are high that the author will not be able to complete his project. However, the work he did is definitely worth considering.

The original Resident Evil 4 was released in 2005 on Gamecube and then ported to many other platforms.
