Two years after the announcement, the company Sony Interactive Entertainment finally announced the release date of the remaster Patapon 2. An updated version of a two-dimensional rhythm platformer with elements of a god simulator will appear on Playstation 4 already January 30th. The cost is $ 14.99.
In addition to improved graphics with support 4K on the PS4 Pro the reissue will offer new types of patapons, additional mini-games and “many other surprises.” The gameplay has not changed at the same time – gamers in the role of a deity need to lead the military march of patapons in new lands, commanding the army with the help of drum losses.
The sequel Patapon, like the first part, was originally released on the PSP. In total, the series has three games. Remaster first appeared on the PlayStation 4 in 2017.
