Finnish studio Iceflake will become the ninth internal studio of the publishing house Paradox Interactive. The company announced the purchase of another development team, although it did not reveal the amount of the deal.
According to Paradox Interactive strategy Surviving the Aftermath, which recently went to early access in Epic Games Store and on Xbox One, fits perfectly into the publisher’s line of games – Cities: Skylines, Stellaris, Europa universalis other. So the buying decision was “easy”.
Paradox will continue to publish the game and hopes to announce other Iceflake projects soon. As a reminder, in June the publishing house has already carried out a significant expansion: it opened a studio Paradox tinto in Barcelona and bought a Paris studio Playrion gameengaged in mobile games.
