Overwatch, The Witcher, and Tetris Effect – Kotaku Picks the Best Trailers of the Decade

Portal Kotaku named the best game trailers of the decade. The authors of the list note that the top is subjective, so there were no clear criteria for its compilation.

The list includes some cinematic trailers: Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, Dead Island, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Journalists noted their staging and musical accompaniment. Roller Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has earned its place by making it feel the last game of the series by Hideo Kojima. And the Tetris Effect trailer, according to the authors of the list, perfectly conveys the feeling of the game.

The best trailers of the decade according to Kotaku:

  • Star Wars: The Old Republic;
  • Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn;
  • The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings;

  • Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain;
  • Tetris Effect;
  • No Man’s Sky Beyond;
  • Untitled Breath of the Wild Sequel (2019).
