Liana Ruppert from Game Informer drew attention to the reference to the series Dragon age in a new cooperative shooter Outriders…
In the Deadrock Pass location, during the A Free Market quest, players meet a character named Alastair Cullen. This name, although slightly different in spelling, refers to two characters in the Dragon Age universe – the gray guard Alistair and the templar Cullen.
In addition, when first meeting Alastair Cullen in Outriders, the character reveals that they are forced to use a certain substance that makes them obedient and helps not to pay attention to hunger.
Ruppert notes that this is similar to the way the Dragon Age church organization uses lyrium to control members of the Templar Order.
