Last Thursday developers Outriders released a fairly large-scale demo of the action, and now they said that over 2 million users downloaded it in a week.
In addition, People Can Fly intends to improve the demo on all platforms in the near future with a small update expected tonight (it will affect Captains, Gauss health and item acquisition), but a much larger patch is expected early next week.
In the demo, players have access to a rather weighty part of the game – three hours of a story campaign, a hub location and a number of additional tasks. And, of course, here you can try all classes of heroes and four (out of eight) active abilities.
As a reminder, Outriders will be released on April 1 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One and PC. Progress from the demo can be carried over to the full release.
By the way, we also appreciated the demo and shared our impressions – the Outriders prologue is full of contradictions, and the studio’s corporate style constantly stumbles over technical flaws and overly harsh game design.
