Representatives of the publishing house Bubble reported that against the background of the release of the film adaptation “Major Thunder” sales of Russian comics jumped.
Despite the film’s poor box office release in early April, it continued to grab viewers’ attention thanks to its release on “KinoPoisk HD” and Russian Netflix…
Because of all this, sales of comics on the Bubble website have grown 13 times compared to April, and since then more than 100 thousand copies of comics on “Thunder” have been sold and about 150 thousand more units have been reprinted.
In addition, in VKontakte, searches for themed goods in ads increased 12 times by the summer, and comics – 16 times. Most often, they looked for posters and autographs of artists from the film, and the average price for the latter is 3,500 rubles. The peak in popularity of product sales came at the end of April.
