“Oh my god …”: Neil Drackmann responded to user reviews of The Last of Us: Part II from Metacritic

Development manager The Last of Us: Part II Neil Drackmann drew attention to the user reviews section of the site Metacriticwhere thousands of people have already rated his new game. Employee Naughty dog I decided to comment directly on the number of reviews (18,301 at the time of writing the tweet), noting the stormy reaction of the audience.

“Oh dear … In just a few hours, The Last of Us: Part II collected about two times more user reviews than the first The Last of Us received in seven years. I like your passion!”, Wrote the game designer, adding to your tweet emoji with a heart.

In the comments, users began to write to Drackmann that he forgot to mention the average user score of the Metacritic game – 3.4 points out of 10. Under the message, a skirmish broke out between supporters and opponents of Naughty Dog.

To support Drackmann came his colleague – the creator God of War Corey Barlog. He posted a gif with a shot from the movie “Iron Man 2”.

In turn, the writer of The Last of Us: Part II Halle gross reacted to the situation with a picture with the words “I am fed from your hatred.”

Drackmann supplemented her recording with an animated image from the cartoon Tom and Jerry.

It is worth recalling that all users can rate games on the Metacritic website – even if they have not personally completed one or another project. The Last of Us: Part II began to “attack” with negative reviews mentioning the “bad plot” and “LGBT propaganda” immediately after the premiere at night on June 19.
