AMD and Nvidia almost simultaneously published new versions of graphics drivers optimized for Doom eternal.
Version Radeon Software Adrenalin 2023 Edition 20.3.1 received optimizations that allowed to improve performance in graphics settings Ultra nightmare. Performance growth amounted to 5%.
Also this driver received improvements for Half Life: Alyx and Ghost recon: breakpoint, a number of modifications to improve the quality of working with the Vulkan API and a set of extensions for this interface. But they only function on RDNA cards. Errors and bugs have also been fixed. You can download the new product on the official website.
Greens released their version of the driver Game Ready 442.74 WHQL. The performance increase says that the driver is capable of issuing up to 200 FPS per GeForce RTX 2080 Ti at maximum graphics settings. Interestingly, the system requirements only talk about 120 FPS at a resolution of 1440p.
