Nolan North spoke about this during a recent web show. Retro replay, which he leads along with another famous voice actor – his colleague in the workshop Troy Baker.
“The fact that they are going to make a series on The Last of Us is much better than making a film,” said Nolan North. “I think it’s awesome. And the fact that they brought the author of the series“ Chernobyl ”(Craig Mazin) to the production process is obviously the right decision to succeed. I’m really excited about it. I admit honestly, even more than the adaptation of Uncharted “Despite the fact that I like Mark Wahlberg, I don’t imagine him as Sally. I just don’t see him in this image,” – stressed actor.
Nolan North also noted that the serial format is much more suitable for the adaptation of a video game, since there is no need to compress the storytelling from the game, which is revealed over 15-20 hours of passage, in one and a half to two hours for the movie format.
The premiere of the film on Uncharted is scheduled for 2023, while the release date for the series The Last of Us is from HBO not yet reported.
