Nioh Collection Announced For PlayStation 5, Nioh 2 Coming To PC

Publisher Koei Tecmo and studio Team Ninja prepared several announcements at once, timed to coincide with the upcoming celebration of the fourth anniversary Nioh… Together with the disclosure of the details of the final storyline DLC for Nioh 2, the developers have officially confirmed the PC version of the second part, and also announced plans to release remasters of the first and second games in the series on Playstation 5

Nioh 2: The First Samurai

The story of Nioh 2 will end with an expansion called The First Samurai. According to the plot of “The First Samurai”, the main character, at the whim of Sohayamaru, travels to the past for the third and last time – to the times that his mother told him about in childhood, when the young warrior defeated the great demon. In the DLC, gamers will have to uncover the secrets associated with the past Otakemaru, the appearance of Sohayamaru and the identity of the first samurai, as well as experience another level of difficulty, which, according to the developers, “will make even the most experienced players sweat.” Nioh 2: The First Samurai released on Playstation 4 will take place already December 17th

Nioh 2: Complete Edition for PC

The second part of the hardcore action RPG in the Complete Edition will offer PC gamers the base game and a full set of DLCs, including The Tengu’s Disciple, Darkness in the Capital and The First Samurai.

  • Support for ultra-wide monitors of the UltraWide format;
  • Fully compatible with keyboard and mouse;

Nioh 2: Complete Edition’s Sales Steam start 5th February 2023 by price $ 49,99… On the same day, the full edition of Nioh 2 will be available to PlayStation 4 users.

Remasters of Nioh: Complete Edition and Nioh 2: Complete Edition for PlayStation 5

Simultaneously with the release of the sequel on PC, the updated versions of Nioh: Complete Edition and Nioh 2: Complete Edition for PlayStation 5 will be released. Both games will be fully optimized for the capabilities of the new Sony console and will transfer all the accumulated progress from PlayStation 4. Among the features of the remasters are stated:

  • 4K resolution;
  • Smooth frame rate up to 120 FPS;
  • Super fast downloads;
  • Support for 3D audio technology;
  • Support for adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller;
  • Crossgen multiplayer between PS4 and PS5;

Nioh: Complete Edition and Nioh 2: Complete Edition will be available both separately and as part of a collection Nioh collection… Pre-orders in PlayStation Store will open 20th November

Nioh 2 PS4 owners can upgrade to PlayStation 5 remaster at no extra cost… At the same time, it will not be possible to buy a re-release for a new console without DLC, as well as the add-ons themselves.
