Nintendo Switch games rank 10 out of 10 on the Japanese chart – The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD leads

Games for Nintendo Switch occupied all ten positions out of ten in the fresh Japanese chart. The edition informs about it. Famitsu… Debuted from the top line The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD – During the first weekend, stores sold 159,089 copies on physical media.

For comparison, the original The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword for Wii launched in November 2011 with sales of 190 thousand copies, but it was only available on disc, while the re-release is also distributed in digital format. Statistics on eShop, unfortunately, the tracker does not have it.

In second place was another hot novelty for the Nintendo Switch – an adventure game Crayon Shin-Chan: Ora to Hakase no Natsuyasumi – Owaranai Nanokakan no Tabi from the publisher Neos and game designer Kaza Ayabeknown for working with Sony Interactive Entertainment over the once popular Japanese franchise Boku no natsuyasumi (My summer vacation).

Crayon Shin-Chan: Ora to Hakase no Natsuyasumi – Owaranai Nanokakan no Tabi is based on the popular anime Crayon Shin-chan (“Shin-chan”, “Pencil Shin”) and uses the mechanics of My Summer Vacation.

The demand for the game has exceeded all expectations of the publisher and retailers. Physical copies were sold out at the start.

Despite new releases, Nintendo Switch sales in Japan declined for the second week in a row. Apparently, this is due to the early announcement Nintendo Switch OLED – part of the audience decided not to rush to buy the system and wait for the new model.
